Paul Huson, "The Devil's Picturebook: The Compleat Guide to Tarot Cards: Their Origins and Their Usage"
IUniverse | 2003 | ISBN: 0595273335 | 258 pages | PDF | 48,4 MB

Paul Huson's trend-setting book on Tarot cards published in 1971 explores the magical and mythological imagery of the famous deck. The New Haven Register recognized it as: "The most comprehensive and illuminating work on these 'mirrors of the soul.' Unique among books on the Tarot."

Summary: Paul Huson is the best.
Rating: 5

Ive been a fan of Paul Huson since I discovered his acclaimed Mastering Witchcraft years back. This book is in the same style as the hardcover edition of Mastering Witchcraft and is a perfect companion book to it for those working the tarots. I highly reccomend this, and any other book by Huson.

Summary: Deeply Insightful & Beautifully Pagan
Rating: 5

One should read both widely and deeply when in quest of transordinary knowledge, and especially so in regard to all things esoteric, such as the Tarot.

If the chance presents itself, read "The Devil's Picture Book" in concert with "78 Degrees Of Wisdom" by Rachael Pollac. These two beautifully contrasting yet intimately complimentary interpretations of the Tarot will work wild wonders upon the canvas of your mind.

"True art seems artless
True straightness seems crooked
True wisdom seems foolish" -Tao Te Ching
